In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards League Summer League, The Market Inn beat the Magnet B 6-0 to increase their lead at the top. Gareth Butcher (2,870), Derek Latham (4,680) and Craig Carlson (2,610) swept the singles, with doubles wins for Butcher & Carlson (3,490), Carlson & Dave Carliell (3,380) and Latham & Carliell (1,960).
The Magnet A defeated the Plough & Harrow B 5-1 in Deal to move second. John Higgens (1,340) and Mike Callanan (2,070) won either side of a Plough success for Ron Beer (3,150). Further Magnet doubles wins for Lin Callanan & Mike Callanan (2,890), Higgens & Lin Callanan (2,170) and Mike Callanan & Higgens (2,780) followed.
The Plough & Harrow drew 3-3 at home to Betteshanger Club in Tilmanstone. Brian Carpenter (1,320) put the Plough ahead, before Betteshanger victories for Warren Cowdrey (3,540) and Ricky Cowdrey (2,120). Ann Keen & Karen Keen (4,670) levelled the match with the first doubles, Ricky Cowdrey & Dave Howarth (3,750) restored Betteshanger lead, and finally Carpenter & Ann Keen (3,950) forced the draw.
