In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards League Summer League, leaders Market Inn won 5-1 away to nearest challengers Betteshanger Club in Deal. Dave Howarth (2,360) put Betteshanger ahead, before Craig Carlson (4,050) and Gareth Butcher (2,860) took their singles games for the visitors. Doubles successes for Dave Carliell & Butcher (3,930), Carlson & Carliell (4,340) and Butcher & Carlson (6,010) gave the Market Inn the match victory.The Plough & Harrow A drew 3-3 at home to the Magnet A in Tilmanstone. John Higgens (3,780) and Mike Callanan (5,710) put the Magnet in front, but Brian Carpenter (2,200) gained a leg for the Plough. Ann Keen & Carpenter (2,620) levelled the match, Callanan & Higgens (4,860) regained the Magnet lead, and finally Karen Keen & Ann Keen (2,910) forced the draw.
