In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards League, Market Inn B stay stop after a 4-2 win away to the Two Sawyers A. Gareth Butcher (4,890), Dave Carliell (5,300) and Alan Farra (8,870) swept the singles for the Market, Farra recording a 4,160 break and Butcher a break of 3,980. Farra & Butcher (4,740) then took the first doubles and the match. Two Sawyers’ points came in the last two legs with wins for Stuart Richardson & Gary Clarke (4,340) and Clarke & Alan Smith (4,840).
The Plough & Harrow B from Bridge won 4-2 away to the Market Inn A. Derek Latham (1,840) put the Market Inn A ahead, before Kevin Kay edged Ted Hogben 3,730-3,600. John Fullager (7,820) took the last singles to put the Plough ahead. Craig Carlson & Latham (5,400) won the first doubles, but Stan Brocklebank & Kay (3,370) and Fullager & Brocklebank (5,270) gained the last two games for the match victory.
 
In Division Two, leaders Royal Oak were pegged back to a 3-3 draw at home to the Magnet B. Alan Patfield just beat Shirley Cowdrey 1,560-1,420 for the Oak, before Val Judd (1,560) and Donna Prior (1,240) put the Magnet in front. Roger Oldfield & Mark Graves (1,950) levelled the match, Prior & Dawn Williams (3,580) regained the Magnet lead, and finally Patfield & Oldfield (2,250) forced the draw.
