In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards Summer League, leaders Market Inn won 4-2 away to the Plough & Harrow B in Tilmanstone. Gareth Butcher (2,450) put the Market ahead, Harry Pearson edged Craig Carlson 2,170-2,060 to level, and Derek Latham (4,050) regained the Market Inn lead. The first doubles saw Latham & Dave Carliell (4,510) win, before Phil Court & Pearson (3,020) gained another point for the Plough. Carlson & Butcher (3,720) took the last leg and the match.
The second and third placed teams met, which saw a 3-3 draw between the Betteshanger Bricks and the Magnet A. Ricky Cowdrey (3,580) put Betteshanger ahead, before Magnet wins for Mike Callanan (4,420) and John Higgens (5,330). The first two doubles went to Betteshanger via Warren Cowdrey & Ward Griffiths (4,600) and Ricky Cowdrey & Warren Cowdrey (3,300), and Lin Callanan & Mike Callanan (3,720) won the last leg to force the draw.
The Plough & Harrow A from Tilmanstone won 6-0 away to the Magnet B. Ann Keen (2,960), Brian Carpenter (1,800) and Karen Keen (2,240) swept the singles, and Karen Keen & Carpenter (4,990) took the first doubles to secure the match. The final two legs went to Ann Keen & Karen Keen (3,280) and Carpenter & Ann Keen (2,920).
