In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards League, Group A winners Betteshanger defeated Brickmakers B 5-1. Chris Saville (6,930), Wack Sampson (5,210) and Neville Potts (6,150) swept the singles, and Saville & Sampson (2,390) took the first doubles and the match. Ward Griffiths & Dave Howarth (2,310) gained Brickies' point, and Sampson & Potts (2,720) won the last leg.
The Royal Oak defeated the Magnet B 3.5-2.5 to qualify for the semi-finals. Steve Lake & Tanya Philpott drew 1410-1410, before Donna Prior edged Nigel Scott 1,810-1,760 and Mark Graves (1,900) levelled. Prior & Shirley Cowdrey (1,720) put the Magnet ahead, but Graves & Lake (2,040) and Scott & Graves (3,170) took the last two legs and the match.
The Magnet A drew 3-3 at home to the Plough & Harrow A from Bridge. Ian Dennett (3,140) put the Plough ahead, before Magnet wins for John Higgens (6,020) and Mike Callanan (4,200). Lin Callanan & Mike Callanan (2,230) took the first doubles, but the visitors fought back via Brian Underwood & Keith Symes (2,420) and a 1,660-1,650 success for Dennett & Underwood for the draw.
 
In Group B, winners Plough & Harrow B from Bridge won 4-2 at home to Market Inn A. John Fullager defeated Derek Latham 4,570-4,310, and Kevin Kay beat Craig Carlson 5,640-4,700, before Ted Hogben edged Stan Brocklebank 2,020-1930 for the visitors. Hogben & Carlson (3,080) levelled, but Fullager & Brocklebank (2,460) and Kay & Fullager (3,080) sealed the match victory.
The Two Sawyers won 4-2 away to the Market Inn B to book their place in the semi-finals. Alan Farra (5,090) and Gareth Butcher (1,890) put the Market ahead, but Alan Smith (3,200) preceded further Sawyers successes in the doubles via Smith & Richard Cousens (1,790), Cousens & Gary Clarke (1,580) and Clarke & Smith (1,650) for the match.
The Plough & Harrow B, Tilmanstone defeated the Plough & Harrow A 5-1. Gerald Gilbert (2,790) and Harry Pearson (3,720) put the B ahead, before Ann Keen (4,550) won for the A. The B took control in the doubles via Pearson & Gilbert (1,310), Gilbert & Phil Court (1,120) and Court & Pearson (1,910).
