In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards League, Group A saw Betteshanger secure top-spot with a 4-2 win away to the Plough & Harrow A, Bridge. The visitors swept the singles via Wack Sampson (3,740), Neville Potts (5,310) and John Addley (7,840), and claimed the match in the first doubles with Potts & Sampson (2,780). Ian Dennett & Baz Symes won 2,440-2,340, and Keith Symes & Dennett (2,400) were also successful for Plough's points.
The Royal Oak won 5-1 away to the Brickmakers to move second, and are now favourites for the second semi-final position. Steve Lake (3,140), Mark Graves (5,480) and Roger Oldfield (4,510) took the singles between them, before Warren Cowdrey & Dave Howarth (2,070) gained the Brickies’ point in the first doubles. Oldfield & Graves (1,730) and Lake & Oldfield (1,160) won some close doubles to complete the victory.
The Magnet A defeated the Magnet B 4-2, with both sides Plate-bound. Mike Callanan (7,820) and John Higgens (5,090) won either side of a B success for Dawn Williams (1,120). Mike Callanan & Higgens edged Williams & Donna Prior 920-860, and Lin Callanan & Mike Callanan (2,880) also won for victory to the A, before Tanya Philpott & Williams (1,730) gained the B’s second point.
 
In Group B, the Plough & Harrow B clinched top-place with a 6-0 win away to the Plough & Harrow A from Tilmanstone. John Fullager (5,310), Stan Brocklebank (1,870) and Kevin Kay (4,990) swept the singles, and the doubles continued in similar fashion with victories for Kay & Fullager (2,170), Brocklebank & Kay (2,530) and Fullager & Brocklebank (1,960).
The Market Inn B defeated the Market Inn A 4-2, completing the double over their pub-rivals. Craig Carlson (7,230) put the A ahead, before B wins for Alan Farra (3,480) and Gareth Butcher (4,840). Butcher & Farra (1,870) took the first doubles, before Derek Latham & Ted Hogben edged Farra & Dave Carliell 1,820-1,810. Carliell & Butcher (2,790) gained the last leg and the match.
