In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards League, with a scheduled week's break, only a couple of catch-up games were played, both in Group A. Leaders Betteshanger Club cemented their position with a 4-2 victory away to the Magnet A. The home side started well as John Higgins (4,030) won the first game, but the visitors hit back strongly as Chris Saville (5,050) won his game before Wack Sampson (4,600) scored a late maximum 3000 break to defeat Mike Callanan. The doubles matches started with wins for Sampson & Neville Potts (2,080) and then Saville & Sampson (2,930) to put the visitors out of reach before Callanan & Higgins (1,770) won the last game.
 
The Plough & Harrow A from Bridge won 6-0 at home to the Magnet B to move second. Keith Symes (1,740), Brian Underwood (3,290) and Ian Dennett (5,140) swept the singles for the Plough, and Underwood & Symes beat Donna Prior & Dawn Williams 1,680-1,430 in the first doubles for the match victory. The fifth leg saw Symes & Dennett edge Tanya Philpott & Prior 1,850-1,830 - Symes was 420 behind with 4 balls remaining, and managed 200, 30 & 10, and another 200 to sneak the leg. Dennett & Underwood (2,530) gained the final game.
