In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards League, Group A leaders Betteshanger won 6-0 away to the Magnet B. Singles triumphs for Neville Potts (3,910), Wack Sampson (4,700) and John Addley (8,540) were followed by triangles-rules doubles successes for Sampson & Potts (2,560), Potts & Addley (3,190) and Addley & Sampson (1,890) to complete the victory.
The Royal Oak stay second after a 3-3 home draw with the Magnet A. John Higgens (3,500) and Mike Callanan (4,290) put the visitors ahead, before Mark Graves (4,450) won for the Oak. Callanan & Higgens (1,430) took the first doubles for the Magnet, before Oak victories via Roger Oldfield & Nigel Scott (2,210) and Scott & Steve Lake (1,860) forced the draw.
The Brickmakers B defeated the Plough & Harrow A from Bridge 4-2 in Deal. Dave Howarth (3,200) and Ricky Cowdrey (4,760) won either side of a Plough victory for Keith Symes (3,860). Howarth & Ricky Cowdrey (1,810) and Warren Cowdrey & Howarth (1,700) ensured the match victory, before Baz Symes & Keith Symes (2,380) gained the Plough’s second point.
 
Group B saw Two Sawyers retain their lead with a 4-2 win away to the Plough & Harrow A in Tilmanstone. Ron Beer (2,990) gave the Plough the lead, before Sawyers wins for Alan Smith (1,950) and Stuart Richardson (3,180). Beer & Brian Carpenter edged Smith & Richard Cousens 1,420-1,410 to level, but Richardson & Smith (1,440) and Cousens & Richardson (2,180) gained the match victory.
The Plough & Harrow B from Bridge are second after a 5-1 win at home to the Market Inn B. John Fullager (6,160) and Stan Brocklebank (6,490) won either side of a Market Inn success for Alan Farra (6,740). All the doubles went to the Plough via Brocklebank & Kevin Kay (2,200), Kay & Fullager (1,800) and Fullager & Brocklebank (1,910).
The Market Inn A enjoyed a 5-1 win at home to the Plough & Harrow B from Tilmanstone. Derek Latham (4,920) and Craig Carlson (4,950) won, with Gerald Gilbert (1,500) gaining a point for the visitors. The Sandwich side took control in the doubles via Ted Hogben & Carlson (2,250), Latham & Hogben (2,780) and Carlson & Latham (1,880).
