In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards League, in Group A Betteshanger Club drew 3-3 at home to rivals Plough & Harrow A from Bridge. Neville Potts (7,260) and John Addley (3,630) won either side of a Plough victory for Ian Dennett (5,050). Chris Saville & Wack Sampson (2,120) took the first triangles-rules doubles, but the visitors hit-back via Dennett & Baz Symes (1,750) and Keith Symes & Dennett (1,220) to force the draw.
The Royal Oak moved second with a 6-0 home thrashing of the Brickmakers B. Steve Lake (4,650), Nigel Scott (2,810) and Mark Graves (2,100) swept the singles, with further Oak successes for Lake & Graves (2,550), Scott & Lake (1,660) and Graves & Scott (2,920).
In Deal, honours were even as the Magnet A drew 3-3 with the Magnet B. John Higgens (4,370) and Mike Callanan (8,090) put the A 2-0 up, before Tanya Philpott beat Lin Callanan 1,800-1,650 for the B. Higgens & Lin Callanan (1,990) took the first doubles but Shirley Cowdrey & Donna Prior (1,760) closed the gap before Prior & Dawn Williams edged Lin Callanan & Mike Callanan 1,450-1,330 to force the draw.
 
In Group B the Plough & Harrow B from Tilmanstone were held to a home 3-3 draw by the Two Sawyers from Woolage Green. Gary Clarke (4,000), Stuart Richardson (2,120) and Alan Smith (5,250) swept the singles for Sawyers, but some close doubles saw Gerald Gilbert & Harry Pearson win 1,360-1,330, and Pearson & Ron Beer victorious 1,180-1,120, before Beer & Gilbert (1,700) took the last leg for the draw.
In Sandwich, the Market Inn B defeated the Market Inn A 4-2 to secure bragging rights. Derek Latham (2,410) put the A ahead, before B victories for Alan Farra (7,890) and Gareth Butcher (2,580). Farra & Dave Carliell took the first doubles 2,020-1,830, Latham & Ted Hogben (1570) gave the A hope of a draw, before Butcher & Farra (1,890) gained the last leg and the match.
