In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards League, Betteshanger Club won 4-2 away to the Royal Oak to remain in command of Group A. Mark Graves (2,660) gave the Oak the lead, before Betteshanger wins for Chris Saville (6,010) and Neville Potts (4,940). Wack Sampson & Potts edged Nigel Scott & Steve Lake 1,510-1,480 in the first doubles, Graves & Scott (1,740) gained another Oak point, and finally Saville & Sampson (1,980) ensured the match victory.

An all-Deal affair saw the Brickmakers B defeat the Magnet A 4-2. Ricky Cowdrey (3,020) gave the Brickies the lead, before Lin Callanan (2,100) and Mike Callanan (7,160) gave the visitors the advantage. The Brickies dominated the triangles-rules doubles with successes for Dave Howarth & Ricky Cowdrey (2,790), Ricky Cowdrey & Warren Cowdrey (2,320) and Warren Cowdrey & Howarth (1,960).

 

In Group B, the Two Sawyers are top after a 5-1 win away to the Market Inn A. Gary Clarke (5,160), Stuart Richardson (4,340) and Alan Smith (5,230) swept the singles for the visitors, before Ted Hogben & Craig Carlson won 1,560-1,500 to stop the rot for the Market in the first doubles. Richardson & Richard Cousens (1,690) and Clarke & Smith (2,050) completed the Sawyers victory.

The Plough & Harrow B from Bridge enjoyed a 6-0 home victory against the Plough & Harrow B from Tilmanstone. Kevin Kay (5960), Stan Brocklebank (6,240) and John Fullager (3,980) swept the singles, and the doubles followed with successes for Brocklebank & Kay (2,040), Fullager & Brocklebank (2,170) and Kay & Fullager (3,080).

The Market Inn B travelled to Tilmanstone and beat the Plough & Harrow A 4-2. Ann Keen (4,610) put the Plough ahead, before Market victories for Gareth Butcher (3,740) and Alan Farra (5,810). Farra & Carliell (2,090) and Butcher & Farra (1,830) took the first doubles and the match, while Brian Carpenter & Karen Keen (1,280) gained the last leg.
