In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards Winter League, Betteshanger Club continued their charge to the title with a 4-2 victory away to the Plough & Harrow B in Bridge. Ian Dennett (6,640) put the Plough ahead, before massive Betteshanger wins for Chris Saville (14,120) and John Addley (14,300). High-scoring doubles saw Wack Sampson & Saville (6,050) successful, before Keith Symes & Dennett won 4,020-3,990, and finally Addley & Saville (6,000) clinched the match.
The Market Inn A remain second after a 3-3 draw away to the Magnet A, in Deal. Derek Latham (3,750) put the visitors ahead, before Mike Callanan (4,350) won for the Magnet, and John Higgens edged Ted Hogben 3,549-3,480. Callanan & Higgens (5,580) made it 3-1, but the Market Inn fought-back via Craig Carlson & Hogben (6,000) and Latham & Carlson (4,600) for the draw.
The Plough & Harrow B won 4-2 away to the Two Sawyers A to move third. John Fullager (5,680), Kevin Kay (6,300) and Stan Brocklebank (5,080) swept the singles, and Fullager & Brocklebank (5,020) gave the Plough an unassailable lead. Richard Cousens & Gary Clarke (3,770) and Clarke & Alan Smith (4,350) picked up late points for Sawyers.
 
In Division Two, top-side the Market Inn B thumped the Brickmakers A 6-0. Gareth Butcher (4,680), Alan Farra (8,410) and Dave Carliell (1,880) swept the singles, Farra courtesy of a 6,720 break. Butcher & Farra (4,320) clinched the first doubles and the match, the last two legs following suit.
The Brickmakers B stay second after a 5-1 victory at home to the Two Sawyers B. Ricky Cowdrey (2,180) won, Warren Cowdrey edged John Miller 2,360-2,230, and Dave Howarth completed a sweep of the singles. Howarth & Ricky Cowdrey (3,690) secured the match, before Two Sawyers point via Miller & Phil Rye (4,500).
Honours were even in Tilmanstone as the Plough & Harrow B drew 3-3 with the Plough & Harrow A. Gerald Gilbert (1,760), Harry Pearson (3,540) and Ron Beer (870) put the B 3-0 up, before the A came back in the doubles via Ann Keen & Brian Carpenter (3,750), Karen Keen & Ann Keen (4,850) and Carpenter & Karen Keen (2,640).
