In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards Winter League, leaders Betteshanger Club lost 4-2 at home to the Market Inn A, succumbing to their first defeat of the season. Chris Saville (10,460) opened with a 7,070 break for Betteshanger, before Derek Latham (8,780) courtesy of a 7,970 break, and Craig Carlson (5,130) won for the visitors. The doubles saw a plethora of maximum 2000 breaks, as Latham & Ted Hogben won 5,750-5,040, Saville & John Addley edged Carlson & Latham 5,420-5,320, and Hogben & Carlson (5,130) took the last leg and the match.
The Plough & Harrow A from Bridge won 4-2 away to the Royal Oak. Alan Patfield (2,600) put the Oak ahead, before Plough victories for Baz Symes (4,220) and Ian Dennett (4,010). The visitors took four successive legs for the match, as Baz Symes & Keith Symes (3,560) and Dennett & Baz Symes (3,140) won, while Patfield & Roger Oldfield gained the last leg 3,240-3,130 for the Oak.
 
In Division Two, the Plough & Harrow B from Tilmanstone won 4-2 sway to the Magnet B. Harry Pearson (2,120) and Phil Court (2,060) won either side of a Magnet success for Dawn Williams (2,170). Court & Gerald Gilbert (2,210) took the first doubles, Tanya Philpott & Shirley Cowdrey (2,310) gained a point back for the Deal side, and finally Gilbert & Pearson (2,500) won the last leg and the match.
The Plough & Harrow A from Tilmanstone won 6-0 at home to the Two Sawyers B from Woolage Green. Brian Carpenter (2,990), Ann Keen (4,240) and Ron Beer (3,340) swept the singles, and Carpenter & Beer (3,380) took the first doubles and the match. The last two doubles followed for the Plough, Beer & Keen (3160) taking the last.
