In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards Winter League, the Betteshanger Lions enjoyed a 4-2 victory away at Two Sawyers, Woolage Green. Alan Smith (7,350) won for the Sawyers thanks to a 5,100 break, but Betteshanger won via John Addley (9,280) after an opening break of 8,450, and Neville Potts (7,890) who opened with 6,200. Richard Cousens & Stuart Richardson (4,670) levelled the match, before doubles successes for Wack Sampson & Saville (4,270), and Addley & Saville (6,260) for the match.
The Royal Oak drew 3-3 at home to defending champions Plough & Harrow B from Bridge. Kevin Brocklebank edged Roger Oldfield 2,390-2,380, before Mark Graves (2,990) levelled for the Oak. Kevin Kay (5,760) restored the Plough lead, before Steve Lake & Oldfield (3,090) levelled in the first doubles. Kay & Stan Brocklebank (3,880) took the next leg, before Graves & Lake (1,990) forced the draw.
 
In Division Two, the Market Inn B won at home to the Plough & Harrow A from Tilmanstone to forge an early lead. Anne Keen (4,330) put the visitors in front, before singles victories for Gareth Butcher (2,130) and Alan Farra (4,670) reversed the advantage. After Dave Carliell & Butcher (2,760) took the first doubles, a win for Karen Keen & Ann Keen (3,650) gave the Plough hope of a draw, but Butcher & Farra (4,620) took the last leg and the match.
The Plough & Harrow B, Tilmanstone were held to a 3-3 draw at home to the Two Sawyers B. Harry Pearson (1,870) and Ian Jamieson (2,030) won either side of a Sawyers victory for Phil Rye (2,050). Pearson & Ron Beer (4,210) took the first doubles, but the visitors fought back for the draw, via Jason Merricks & Dave Wiltshire (2,680) and Rye & Merricks (2,430).
In an all-Deal match, the Brickmakers A won 4-2 away to the Magnet B. Tanya Philpott (2,380) put the Magnet ahead, before Brickies wins for Ann Garlinge (1,590) and Chris Gent (2,890). Dawn Williams & Donna Prior (2,160) levelled in the first doubles, before Brickies successes for Gent & Paul Garlinge (2,010) and Paul Garlinge & Ann Garlinge (2,250) gave them the match.
