Winter League Results:
Division One: Betteshanger Club 6 Royal Oak 0. Market Inn A 5 Two Sawyers A 1. Magnet A 2 Plough & Harrow, Bridge A 4.
Division Two: Two Sawyers B 1 Market Inn B 5. Brickmakers Arms 4 P&H Tilmanstone B 2. P&H Tilmanstone A 4 Magnet B 2.
 
The Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards Winter League is underway, and the Betteshanger side got off to a great start beating the Royal Oak 6-0 at home. John Addley (10,080) won with an opening break of 6,150, followed by further Betteshanger wins for Chris Saville (6,830) courtesy of a late 6,100 break, and Neville Potts (5,790). Addley & Saville (6,850) took the first doubles and the match, with the final two legs following suit.
The Market Inn A defeated the Two Sawyers A 5-1 in Sandwich. The home side swept the singles via Craig Carlson (4,150), Ted Hogben (3,780) and Derek Latham (2,420), and Latham & Hogben (6,120) took the first leg for the match. Richard Cousens & Gary Clarke (3,670) gained Two Sawyers point, with Carlson & Latham (4,520) completing the evening.
The Plough & Harrow A, Bridge, won 4-2 away to the Magnet A in Deal. Baz Symes (3,310) and Keith Symes (6,260) put the visitors 2-0 up, before Mike Callanan (4,950) won for the Magnet. Lin Callanan & Mike Callanan (5,040) levelled in the first doubles, before Ian Dennett & Baz Symes (4,400) and Keith Symes & Dennett (2,060) gained the match victory.
 
In Division Two, the Market Inn B began their promotion campaign with a 5-1 victory away to the Two Sawyers B. Dave Carliell (3,200), Gareth Butcher (4,790) and Alan Farra (5,330) swept the singles, before Jason Merricks & Phil Rye (2,660) won for the Two Sawyers. The last two legs went to the Sandwich side, Carliell & Butcher (4,840) taking the final one.
The Brickmakers B beat the Plough & Harrow B, Tilmanstone, 4-2 in Deal. Warren Cowdrey (3,770), Dave Howarth (1,880) and Ricky Cowdrey (4,900) took the singles, before a Plough success for Phil Court & Harry Pearson (3,580). Ricky Cowdrey & Howarth (5,200) ensured the match victory, with Pearson & Ron Beer (3,000) winning the last leg.
The Plough & Harrow A, Tilmanstone, won 4-2 at home to the Magnet B. Ann Keen (3,850) and Brian Carpenter (3,750) put the Plough 2-0 up, with Tanya Philpott (2,910) winning for the Magnet. Carpenter & Ann Keen (3,710) extended the Plough lead, Shirley Cowdrey & Philpott (2,060) closed the gap, before Ann Keen & Karen Keen (2,910) sealed the bonus points.
