In the Dover, Deal & District Bar Billiards League Chantry Club from Canterbury have moved top after a 5-1 away win at the Plough & Harrow, Bridge.  Kevin Kay (7,230) and John Fullager (11,910) put the visitors ahead, before Ian Dennett (5,630) won for the Plough.  All three doubles also went to the Chantry for the match, the last leg for Fullager & Kay (7,220).

The Royal Oak are second after a 3-3 draw at home to the Magnet A.  Mike Callanan (4,660) put the Magnet ahead, before Oak victories for Nigel Scott (2,050) and Steve Lake (5,520).  Lin & Mike Callanan (3,370) and John Higgens & Lin Callanan (1,500) regained the Magnet lead, before Lake & Mark Graves (3,670) forced the draw.

The Market Inn A defeated the Betteshanger Alma Lions 4-2 in Sandwich.  Derek Latham (9,750) and Craig Carlson (3,800) won for the Market, before Neville Potts edged John Laundrie 1,990-1,920.  Potts & Chris Saville (5,390) levelled matters, but successes for Laundrie & Carlson (4,220) and Latham & Laundrie (4,120) took the match.

 

In Division Two, the Plough & Harrow A from Tilmanstone remain top after defeating the Brickmakers A 4-2.  Chris Gent (2,140) and Craig Lancaster (1,990) put the Brickies ahead, before victories for Ann Keen (3,600) and Brian Carpenter & Karen Keen (2,540) in the first doubles levelled the match.  The Plough also took the final two legs for the match, the last by Karen Keen & Ann Keen (3,780).

The Market Inn B won 4-2 away to the Betteshanger B.  Alan Farra (3,200) and Gareth Butcher (4,290) won each side of a home win for Luke Smith (2,520).  Farra & Butcher (4,690) took the first doubles, Smith & Bill Edwards (3,500) won for Betteshanger, and finally Butcher & Dave Carliell (2,860) captured the match.

The Plough & Harrow B, Tilmanstone enjoyed a 5-1 win away to the Magnet B.  Gerald Gilbert (3,610) and Ken Keen (4,810) won for the Plough, before Dawn Williams edged Phil Court 950-920 for the Magnet.  All three doubles went to the visitors, Gilbert & Court (2,870) taking the first.
