In the Summer League, a crunch match saw leaders Market Inn win 4-2 at home to second-placed Magnet A.  Craig Carlson (7,310) gave the home team the lead, but John Higgens edged Derek Latham 2,180-2,020 and Lin Callanan defeated Gareth Butcher 2,320-2,210 to put the Deal side in front, both games won on the last ball.  Butcher & Carlson (4,510) levelled the match in the first doubles, thanks to a late 2,000 break from Butcher.  Dave Carliell & Carlson (3,410) took the next leg, and Latham & Carliell (2,940) completed the turnaround in the doubles to give victory to the Market Inn.

The Plough & Harrow B, Tilmanstone, won 5-1 away to the Magnet B.  Brian Whitley (1,130) and Harry Pearson (2,960) put the Plough 2-0 up, before a Magnet B win for Dawn Williams (1,510).  A close first doubles saw Pearson & Whitley defeat Carl Williams & Dawn Williams 2,090-1,730, and the final two legs also went to the Plough, via Whitley & Phil Court (3,430) and Court & Pearson (3,610).

The Brickmakers Arms B won 4-2 away to the Plough & Harrow A in Tilmanstone.  A clean sweep of the singles for the Brickies saw successes for Warren Cowdrey (2,020), Ricky Cowdrey (3,420) and Steve Philpott (2,610), but Ann Keen & Ron Beer (5,340) took the first doubles for the Plough A.  Philpott & Warren Cowdrey took the next leg 1,760-1,490 to secure the bonus points, with the final game going to Brian Carpenter & Keen (2,780).
