In Division One, the Chantry won again with a 4-2 success at home to the
Royal Oak .  The Chantry swept the singles via Stan Brocklebank (5,790), Kevin Kay (7,230) and John Fullager (7,700).  Richard Cousens & Stuart Richardson won their doubles 5,090-4,120 followed by another Oak victory for Alan Smith & Cousens (5,040).  The match was clinched by a 4,940-4,650 win for Brocklebank & Fullager.

The Betteshanger Lions won 4-2 away to the Market Inn, Sandwich .  Derek Latham (4,990) won for the Market Inn, and Craig Carlson edged Wack Sampson 2,690-2,670, stealing the leg with an unfinished 1,600 break.  Chris Saville (4,110) took the final singles for the Betteshanger team, and all three doubles also went to the visitors for the match victory.

The Plough & Harrow, Bridge won 5-1 away to the Fitzwalter Arms, Goodnestone.  Keith Symes (6,530) and Ian Dennett (6,250) won for the Bridge team, either side of a Fitz victory for Roger Oldfield (3,520).  All three doubles also went to the Plough, Dennett & Baz Symes scoring 6,340 in the last leg.

 

In Division Two, the Brickmakers A drew 3-3 with the Brickmakers Arms B.  Dave Howarth (2,880) won for the B, followed by successive A victories for Paul Garlinge (2,610) and Craig Lancaster (2,340).  Dawn Williams & Shirley Cowdrey (1,370) levelled the match, the A took the next leg, and the B won the last to force the draw, via Shirley Cowdrey & Warren Cowdrey (2,910).

The Plough & Harrow B, Tilmanstone defeated the Magnet B 4-2.  Justin Philpott (3,650) and Steve Philpott (3,140) gave the Magnet B a 2-0 lead, but Harry Pearson edged Chris Gent 2,510-2,240 for the Plough.  The Plough B then took all three doubles for the match victory, the highest scoring being Phil Court & Gerald Gilbert (4,080
