Results:

P&H Bridge 3 Royal Oak 3.
Spring Cup, Plate, Semi-finals: P&H Tilmanstone B 1 Greyhound 5. Magnet B 2 P&H Tilmanstone A 4.

The Plough & Harrow from Bridge are through to the Spring Cup final after a 3-3 draw with the
Royal Oak from Nonington, the match being decided on aggregate 12,150-8,350.  Baz Symes (2,910) and Ian Dennett (2,760) both won for the Plough, either side of a 2,770-2,040 victory for Alan Smith against Keith Symes.  Smith & Stuart Richardson (1,940) took the first doubles to level the match, but Keith Symes & Dennett (1,610) won the next doubles to give the Plough a 3-2 and 4,000 aggregate lead.  Richardson & Smith won the final game 1,890-1,560 to level the scores, but it was in vain as the plough still progressed.

In the Plate competition, the Greyhound enjoyed a convincing 5-1 victory against the Plough & Harrow B, Tilmanstone.  Tony Burns beat Christine Farra 1,400-1,170 to give the Plough the early lead, but Gareth Butcher (3,910) and Alan Farra (8,920) both won for
Sandwich side, Farra hitting a 3,200 break in his game.  Alan Farra & Dave Carliell (1,680) took the first doubles, and a narrow 1,290-820 victory for Carliell & Butcher against Harry Pearson & Burns sealed the victory.  Christine Farra & Alan Farra (2,750) won the final frame to complete the 5-1 score line.
The Plough & Harrow A, Tilmanstone are also through to the Plate final after a 4-2 victory over the Magnet B.  Ann Keen (2,320), Ron Beer (1,690) and Brian Carpenter (2,040) all played well to give the Plough a 3-0 lead after the singles.  The Magnet B fought back in the doubles with successes for Steve Philpott & Chris Gent (1,820) and Gent & Justin Philpott (1,350), but the Plough closed out the match as Beer & Keen (1,020) did enough for the victory.
