This weeks award for surprise result goes to the Greyhound B who came away from the Lion at Ash with a 5-1 victory, a win which sees them leapfrog the Lion into second spot. Still in first place is Canterburys Chantry Club, a lead which they extended this week with a whitewash over the team from the Brickmakers Arms in Deal. The Alma was this weeks venue for the Deal derby where the Oak&Ivy were the guests and although they were beaten on the night, it was a good performance to take two legs against the Winter league champions on their own patch. Derek Crittell&Clive Bullen and Bullen&Simon Raine were the players to make their mark for the visitors.
